Overview: Dr. Suzannah Bozzone is a board-certified family medicine physician who is fluent in English and Spanish. For over 17 years, she has worked extensively in the LatinX and refugee populations both abroad and in the U.S., including private and community clinics in Denver, Colorado, Sonoma, California, and Nashville and Chattanooga, Tennessee. In addition to her medical practice in Sonoma, she served as the medical director of wellness at the Sonoma Valley Hospital. Today, she works passionately to create employee wellness programs and community programs that inspire and empower people toward more vibrant, purpose-driven living.

Training Institutions: Dr. Bozzone attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and completed her residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, where she was chief resident and awarded the Family Medicine Resident Award for Scholarship. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Davidson College in North Carolina and has been recognized for her “infectious enthusiasm” at the University of Colorado as well as Davidson College. Dr. Bozzone also became a certified Forrest Yoga instructor in 2009 and a diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine in 2017.

Clinical Expertise: Dr. Bozzone specializes in chronic conditions including PCOS, weight struggles, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, digestive health, stress and overwhelm. She focuses on helping patients find joy in their journey toward their best self through nutrition, sleep, movement, stress management, and empowering health-optimizing behaviors.

My Philosophy: I believe that healthcare should be about supporting a purpose-driven identity rather than a diagnosis code, offering power through a disease-fighting lifestyle rather than medical dependence. I have a passion for compassionately addressing the root causes of health and strive to help empower patients without criticism to find joy in the journey toward their best selves.

Interests: Family (fantastic husband and 3 kids under 12), yoga, moving in nature, classical singing, and social media.
