Healthy America, LLC and its subsidiaries operating under the Love.Life brand (collectively, “Love.Life,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respect your privacy and use your personal information to fulfill our commitment to offering and providing an exceptional member experience. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how we collect, use, store, protect, and disclose your personal information (including the types of personal information we obtain), with whom we share it, and the choices available regarding our use of the information. This policy also describes the measures we take to safeguard your personal information. 

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Love.Life brand of websites, mobile websites, and microsites and platforms (“Websites). When you use and access our Websites, you accept and agree to both the Love.Life Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy, including that we’ll share certain data and information with our service providers, such as third party analytics services, among others. 

Who We Are

The Websites are operated by Healthy America, LLC, which includes Love.Life Medical PC, Healthy America El Segundo CA LLC, Love.Life Management LLC, and any other affiliated entities and subsidiaries, all of which are holders of your personal information. Further, “Social Media Pages” are the official social media pages we operate on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.

Information We Collect and Store

When you visit our Websites, we may collect certain information about you, such as: 

  • Identifiers: We collect identifiers, which includes personal information like name, address, email address, phone number, username and password for our Websites, photographs (for verification), online identifiers, and shipping address and may also include information such as your social media account information.
  • Device Information: When you visit our Websites, we learn about your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses.
  • Website Interactions: We also keep track of the websites and pages users visit within our Websites in order to determine what products and services are the most popular.
  • Contact Information: We may collect contact information you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Call or Email Records: If you call the phone numbers or email the email addresses provided on the Website, we may keep records of those conversations.
  • Demographic Information: We have access to demographic details you voluntarily provide to us, including your birthdate, gender identity, race/ethnicity, address, and other similar details.
  • Payment Information: Your payment details can be collected in connection with purchases of our products and services.
  • Submitted Content: We collect any content you submit to the Website or to our Social Media Pages, including photos, videos, or comments.
  • Health Information: We may collect certain health-related information that you provide to us in connection with the products and services we make available to you.

Your information may also be collected by third parties, who will process your information independently in accordance with their own privacy policies and notices.
  • Social Media Platforms: Social media platforms may share information with us. You can learn more about how social media platforms collect and use your information by reviewing their privacy policies and settings.
  • Cookies: We use cookies (small files placed on your device or browser that allows us to recognize and remember you) and other similar technologies to automatically collect information when you visit our Websites or interact with our emails. Through the use of cookies, we may link information about your interactions with our Websites over time. We also contract with third-party advertising or analytics companies (such as Google Analytics) to serve you online ads on other websites. These companies use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your interactions with our Websites, and interactions with other websites. These advertising companies may use and share the information gathered to deliver ads more tailored to your interests. We receive aggregate information from these third parties to understand our advertising effectiveness. Any information collected by us or by third parties through the use of cookies or similar technologies may be linked with other information we collect about you.

  • Fulfillment: We collect and use your personal information to operate our Websites and offer and provide our products and services to you, including for the purposes for which you provided the information; to process your payments, and other related customer service.

  • Advertising: We also use your information to present advertising online or through other communication channels, including through partnerships with social media platforms and internet search engines.
  • Website Experience: We may use your information for the operation of the Websites, to maintain the quality of the Websites, and to provide general statistics regarding use of our Website.
  • Personalization: We may use your information to deliver customized content, personalized help and instructions, informing you of products, programs, events, services and promotions of Company, our affiliates and partners and other information and services that we believe may be of interest to you.
  • Research: We may use your information to conduct research and measurement activities for purposes of product and service research and development, advertising claim substantiation, market research, and other activities related to Company, the Websites, or products and services.
  • Security: We may use your information to investigate fraud, security threats, and other harmful activity and protect our legal rights and to enforce our Terms and Conditions.
  • Surveys: We may use your information to administer surveys and questionnaires.
  • Aggregated or De-identified Data: We may aggregate and/or de-identify information collected by the Websites or via other means so that the information is not intended to identify you. Our use and disclosure of aggregated and/or de-identified information is not subject to any restrictions under this Privacy Policy, and we may disclose it to others without limitation for any purpose, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Disputes: We may use your information to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, to protect our rights or property, and to enforce our Terms and Conditions.
  • Legal Obligations: We will use your information to comply with legal and regulatory requirements and in responding to requests from courts or other government bodies.

How We Share Your Information

Our policy is not to disclose your personal information except in the limited circumstances described here: 

  • Service and Marketing Providers: We partner with certain trusted third parties to assist with the operation of our Websites, including billing services, fulfilling requests, advertising, IT services, analyzing your interests and activity on our Websites, analytics and reporting, helping us communicate with you, and other services on our behalf. These third parties may provide services to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and related to other purposes described above, and we may share your personal data (depending upon the nature of the service) with them, but only for the purposes of performing these functions and providing such services.  We may also receive information collected by these third parties and combine it with the information we have collected. Your information may also be collected and processed by third parties, such as the payment providers you select, who will process your information independently in accordance with their own privacy notices.
  • Healthcare Services: We may share your personal information with our affiliates and partners, including without limitation, partners who may fulfill supplement orders or other healthcare-related product orders for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
  • Business Transfers: If (i) we or any of our affiliates undergoes a business transition or change of ownership, such as  a merger or acquisition by   another entity, or (ii) if any of our assets are or may be transferred to another entity, whether as part of a bankruptcy or insolvency proceeding or otherwise, we may be required to disclose or transfer the personal information we have collected from you. As part of the business transfer process, we may share certain of your personal information with lenders, auditors, and third-party advisors, including attorneys and consultants.
  • Other Third Parties: We may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Company; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Company; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Company or the public.
  • With your consent. 

Company’s Service Providers.

We carry out due diligence on all service providers we engage to ensure they have adequate data protection and information security measures in place and only provide them with the personal data necessary for the service they are providing. In some cases, third parties may use the data they collect for their own purposes, for example, they may aggregate your data with other data they hold and use this to inform their services. Our service providers are subject to extensive obligations under contractual arrangements, including strict data retention limits.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information.

We do not sell your personal information in exchange for monetary compensation. We may disclose your personal information by allowing certain third parties (such as social networks and online advertising services) to collect your personal information via automated technologies on our Websites for social networking and cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. We also may disclose your personal information to certain affiliated companies or promotional partners to serve you with content or offers that may be of interest to you. Under California law, these kinds of disclosures may be considered a “sale” when the personal information is exchanged for non-monetary consideration, or “sharing” when the personal information is disclosed for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. You have the right to opt out of these types of disclosures of your information. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell, or share for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, the personal information of minors under 13 years of age.

Your Privacy Choices

You can control the information we collect and use in the following ways:

  • Location Information: You can disable location-based services on your mobile device or web browser by adjusting the settings on your device or browser. This will prevent our Websites from accessing your location information. Note that some services may not be available if you disable location-based services.
  • Emails: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of such emails.
  • Online Advertising: For information about opting out of third-party advertising, visit: Network Advertising Initiative’s (NAI) Consumer Opt-Out link, or the Digital Advertising Alliance’s (DAA) Consumer Opt-Out link (you will leave this Website for a separately managed online site where you can specify your preference under those programs). You can also click on the icon that may appear on some of our advertising served through these technologies. We may use more than one third-party company for placing this advertising, which would require you to opt out of each company. Please note that even after opting out of interest-based advertising, you may still see Company’s advertisements that are not interest-based (i.e., not targeted toward you). Also, opting out does not mean that Company is no longer using its tracking tools—Company still may collect information about your use of our products and services even after you have opted out of interest-based advertisements and may still serve advertisements to you based on information it collects via those products and services.
  • Social Media: This privacy policy does not cover the privacy and security practices of social media platforms on which we have Social Media Pages. Please review the terms, policies, and settings of those social media platforms if you have questions about how they collect and use your data.
  • Disabling Cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your browser options to block them in the future. Visitors to our Websites who disable cookies will be able to browse certain areas of the Website, but some features and functions may not work.

Third-Party Analytics. We use automated devices and applications to evaluate usage of our Website. We also may use other analytic means to evaluate our Websites. We use these tools to help us improve our Websites’ performance and user experiences. You can also download the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Opt-In Policy

When you supply us with personally identifiable information in connection with your use of the Websites, you may be asked to indicate whether you are interested in receiving information from us about our product and service offerings and if you would like us to share personally identifiable information about you with our affiliates, partners or other third parties for their marketing purposes. If you do choose to opt-in, you will receive such communications and/or we will share your information in accordance with your “opt-in” consent.

You may, of course, choose not to receive additional marketing information from us or choose not to allow our sharing of your personally identifiable information as follows:  at any time, you can follow a link provided in our marketing-related email messages (but excluding e-commerce confirmations and other administrative emails) to opt out from receiving such communications; or at any time, you can contact us in accordance with the “Contact Us” section below to opt out from receiving such communications.

If you decide to contact us to change your contact preferences to opt out of receiving communications from us, please specify clearly which of the following choices you are opting out of: (a) receiving marketing communications from us; (b) allowing us to share personally identifiable information about you with our affiliates and partners for their marketing purposes; and/or (c) allowing us to share personally identifiable information about you with other third parties for their marketing purposes.

We will endeavor to implement your requested change as soon as reasonably practicable after receiving your request. Please be aware that your requested change will not be effective until we implement such change. Please note that if you choose not to allow our sharing of your personally identifiable information, we are not responsible for removing your personally identifiable information from the databases of third parties with which we have already shared your personally identifiable information as of the date that we implement your request. If you wish to cease receiving marketing-related e-mails from these third parties, please contact them directly or utilize any opt-out mechanisms in their privacy policies or marketing-related e-mails.

Please note that if you do opt-out of receiving marketing-related messages from us, we may still send you important administrative messages. You cannot opt-out from receiving these administrative messages. We reserve the right, from time to time, to contact former customers or users of the Services for administrative purposes or in order to comply with applicable laws, rules or regulations.

Children’s Privacy

Our Websites are not intended for children under the age of 13. No one under age 13 should share any personal information with us. We do not knowingly collect any personal information about or market to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under the age of 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information from our records. To request deletion of personal information of a child under 13, please email us at privacy@love.life and insert in the subject line “Request for Removal of Minor Information.” For each request, clearly state the following: (i) the nature of the request and identify the content or information to be removed; and (ii) your name, street address, city, state, zip code and e-mail address.

Supported Web Browsers and Do Not Track Signals

We recommend that you use the latest web browser versions to optimize your experience. Older web browser versions may not be able to access or utilize all pages on our Websites as intended. Under California law, operators of online services are required to disclose how they respond to “do not track” signals or other similar mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personal information of a consumer over time and across third party online services, to the extent the operator engages in that collection. At this time, we do not recognize or respond to browser-initiated “Do Not Track” signals, and our Websites may continue to collect information in the manner described within this Privacy Policy.

External Links

For your convenience, our Websites may enable you to navigate to third-party websites or downloadable apps, or other products or services, including social media networks (collectively, “Third Party Sites”) through links on our Websites, over which Love.Life has no control. When you click on one of these links, you are leaving our Websites and accessing Third Party Sites. Including a link to those Third Party Sites is not and should not be viewed as an endorsement by,  or affiliation with Love.Life of that Third Party Site, its operator, or its contents or services.  Your rights and obligations when accessing those Third Party Sites are not governed by our Privacy Policy (or our Terms and Conditions of Use). We encourage you to review the privacy statements of websites or apps you choose to link to from our Websites so that you can understand how they collect, use, and share your information. 

Security

We take steps to help protect the confidentiality and security of your information. We pride ourselves on taking all appropriate security measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, or disclosure. We use reasonable security measures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information such as secured servers using firewalls.  Unfortunately, no website or internet transmission is ever completely 100% secure and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss or other breaches will never occur. Your transmissions are, therefore, at your own risk. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us. To help maintain the security of your personal information, we ask that you please notify us immediately of any unauthorized visit, access, or use of the Websites, or the loss or unauthorized use of your account, or user access information (e.g., username or password).

Your California Privacy Rights.

California’s “Shine the Light” law, Civil Code Section 1798.83, requires certain businesses to respond to requests from California customers asking about the business’s practices related to disclosing personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Data Retention and Deletion.

We will retain your personal information only as long as we need it to achieve the purposes of this Privacy Policy, or other notices that are provided at the time of collection, taking into account applicable statutes of limitation and records retention requirements under applicable law.

We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information.
